Will you ship my order right away?
A moderate supply of each color cowbell is kept in stock, so most likely your order can be filled right away. Packages are taken to the carrier each afternoon. Same-day shipping if you order soon enough!
Can I get my cowbells using overnight delivery?
Yes. There is an option for overnight delivery. If it doesn't show up, just send me an email.
Why in the world is the shipping total $5?
I know, it's weird. We wanted to keep the pricing simple, but to offer 1 cowbell with free shipping versus 2 or 3 cowbells with free shipping got a little complicated when it came to the per cowbell price. $5 shipping was the best solution.
What about colors you have never used? I don’t see the color I want.
If the color exists, mycowbell.com will find it! It helps if you can suggest a website that shows the color or provide a PMS or RAL #. We have to adhere to the minimum order quantity imposed by the powder coater, so the order may have to be between 150 and 300 cowbells depending on cowbell size.
What kind of paint do you use?
All cowbells are now painted using powder coating which is very durable.
Do you offer decals with school logos with the cowbells?
Part of the fun of having a cowbell is that you get to decorate it and make it unique, but many customers want to decorate with a school decal or two. Decals for all SEC schools (except Ole Miss, of course) as well as additional popular schools are offered on mycowbell.com. If we don't have the decal you're looking for, Ebay is a great source. Just be sure to look at the dimensions of the cowbell and the decal. A 3.25" wide decal is a good rule of thumb.
Can I have custom decals made for my cowbells?
We have a local source that makes custom, laser cut, vinyl labels. They are just $.50 apiece with a minimum order of 50. We do not normally apply the decals to the bells, but can do that for an additional $.50 per bell labor.
Do people use these cowbells for fundraisers?
Absolutely! High schools, booster clubs, cheerleading organizations, alumni organizations, and other groups make up a significant portion of business for mycowbell.com. Volume pricing is available, so you and your group can resell them at a per unit profit!
My order total qualifies for the volume discount, but it didn't automatically give it to me........what happened?
If you ordered different colors or sizes, the shopping cart won't automatically discount the bells, but DON'T WORRY, you still qualify for the discount! Don't place the order. Send an email to eric@mycowbell.com and I'll give you a coupon code that you can apply which will fix that glitch.
Will the clacker go flying out of the cowbell if I ring it too hard?
Not necessarily, but that sort of thing can happen, although it's more likely to happen if you buy our competitor's cowbells. Starting February 2013, all cowbells are now welded at the loop (both ends) before assembling. This has proven to be very effective. The only drawback is that they are painted AFTER clacker installation, which means you may get a brief paint flake shower at first use. Be sure to inspect your clacker construction before first use to make sure everything looks good. Customers who bought a cowbell from mycowbell.com and lost their clacker may request a new clacker free of charge. Improvements to the clacker welding has been very successful over the years and keeps getting better!
Do you sell replacement clackers for old cowbells that were rung one too many times?
Clackers are not sold separately. Mycowbell.com will gladly send you a replacement clacker free of charge for that special old bell, but only in addition to a new bell purchase. Just be sure to send an email request for an extra to be included with your order.
